Started Round #8 of maintenance today. (I like to kid around and say only 352 more to go - 30 years. Ha!). At this stage, it is all pretty routine.

The excitement today was my new shirt! Got this in the mail a couple weeks ago from my friend and fellow cancer warrior, Mary. I remember riding a few miles with her on RAGBRAI many years ago, and she told me about neuropathy. NOW I get it—sorry Mary! Outside of family, she was the first one I talked to about my cancer. She is also the one who taught me we are not survivors, “We are warriors, damn it!” Too bad this shirt is so subtle…hardly anyone noticed. 😉

I do treatment every other Monday for the next 29 years. If you send me a shirt, I’ll wear it.
