I Ride For: Randy

What a great fall day in Michigan to finish my flag for Randy. It is cool but not cold, a light breeze, and 100% sunny. The leaves here are just starting to turn. Soon it will be windy, raining, and cold. But not today.

Randy is work teammate who has been a cancer warrior for a while now. He was one of the first to message me last year about a whole food, plant based diet. (I’ve been kidding him for years about being a vegan - not any more. Ha!) While Randy has done medical treatment, this tool is only #3 in his war chest. Diet is #2. #1 in Randy’s fight (and #1 by a long shot) is his faith.

Randy, I so admire your faith. On a day like today when it is beautiful, I feel strong, and I’ve just been to a nice church service I can get close to where you are. Most of the time, however, life happens and I don’t even think of God. And more times than not, I wonder if God is just something we made up to make ourselves feel better. Whenever I see you or read one of your comments, I know faith is ALWAYS first in your heart and mind. This is uplifting and awesome. Thank you.
